 Mt. Bethel BellArchitects provided a Condition Analysis Report for the buildings of Mt. Bethel Baptist Church. The intent of the report is to provide the decision makers of the church an understanding of the immediate intervention required along with the needs associated with continual stewardship of its property. The physical condition of the existing building was evaluated, areas requiring attention are identified on drawings and in photographs. A description of the problem is given with its cause and approaches for addressing and correcting the problem.
In addition the building compliance with the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) was evaluated. Solutions were look at to provide wheelchair access to the building and its major spaces, and to provide accessible toilet rooms. Recommendations are compatible with the building and consistent with the Secretary of Interior Standards for Rehabilitation of Historic Properties.
The report provides the tools needed to make sound decisions, and prioritized ongoing efforts that ensures good investment in long term use and maintenance.
