This is a new custom house built on a rural heavily wooded site. The two-story, three-bedroom house includes and attached three-car garage with a small apartment above. Unique features of the house include custom wood trim, cabinets and furniture built on-site from mature Poplar and Walnut trees that were selectively culled from the property. An island in the kitchen is designed as a large table with a single 12 ft. by 5 ft. slab of granite, built-in bookshelves, a down draft cooktop and seating for six. Windows are carefully placed throughout the house to capture view of the neighboring field and bring the outdoors in.
